Magnus Lundgren


Magnus Lundgren is a professional photographer and journalist from Sweden specialised in marine and freshwater environments.
He is a trusted and experienced expedition leader since 25 years visiting environments from the Arctic all the way down to warm
archipelagos along the equator.

His images have been published in books, magazines and in digital media all around the World including leading magazines such
as National Geographic Magazine, GEO, Terre Sauvage to name a few. His latest book "A wilder life" was awarded Pandabook of
the Year by WWF in Sweden. The second latest book "Wild Waters of Europe" was published by National Geographic in Germany.

Magnus is the driving force and owner of one of the world's largest nature communication projects ever called Wild Wonders of Europe,
which reached more than 800 million people. Built upon this success the newer project Wild Wonders of China is built upon.

As a photographer his list of international awards is very long, stretching over almost 30 years. Magnus is most proud
of his awards from the competitions Wildlife Photographer of the Year and European Wild Photographer of the Year. Magnus
have received the honourable "Arne Schmitz Nature Conservation Prize" in Sweden
